GUA MUSANG: Three women were killed and three other people badly injured in a collision between a car and a four-wheel-drive vehicle at KM3 Jalan Gua Musang-Kuala Krai.
GUA MUSANG: Three women were killed and three other people badly injured in a collision between a car and a four-wheel-drive vehicle at KM3 Jalan Gua Musang-Kuala Krai.
Bank officer Hasmah Idrus, 28, and Shaibah Che Danial, 34, died on the spot. Hasmah’s younger sister Siti Aminah, 22, died after being taken to the Kuala Krai Hospital following the accident yesterday. An unidentified man and his wife were injured.
The other injured person was Shaibah’s younger sister Syaikhah, 25, who was treated at the Gua Musang Hospital and later transferred to Kuala Krai Hospital.
Gua Musang police public order and traffic chief ASP Zakaria Syahadan said the accident occurred when the four women, from Kampung Pasir Era, Kuala Krai, were on their way to Kuala Lumpur in a Perodua Kelisa.
The car collided with the four-wheel-drive vehicle at a bend in the road, he told reporters. Zakaria said the couple in the four-wheel-drive vehicle received treatment at the Gua Musang Hospital. — Bernama"
